Manda & Zack’ Costa RicaWaterfall Engagement
Catarata del Toro - Bajos del Toro
On a sunny Saturday morning, we met meet Manda and Zack at Catarata del Toro (Bull’s Waterfall), one of the most, if not the most, magnificent waterfalls in Costa Rica for their engagement session. We’d planned the session for the day before in the afternoon, but the rental car company took forever and we had to reschedule for the next day. Later that night, we met them in the only local bar - it would be an understatement to call it a one-horse town! - and had a few drinks and typical Costa Rican bar food. Manda and Zack are great! We had a wonderful time!
That we had to reschedule actually worked out for the best as it was very overcast. The next day, however, the weather was pretty good with the skies somewhat overcast. Catarata del Toro is an amazing location. On one part of the property, there is the Catarata del Toro Waterfall and on the other side, there are the Las Gemelas Waterfalls (The Twins).
On the way down to Catara del Toro, there’s a gorgeous path where the sun shoots in and illuminates the flowers in the background. We had to stop there and take a few pics of them. Closer to the base of the waterfall, there’s an elevated lookout that was a fantastic spot for more photos with the waterfall in the background. Then, there’s the base of the waterfall, which is a sublime place for romantic photos. There’s nothing like taking photos of a couple in love in a beautiful place!
It was great to meet you both. We hope you have an amazing wedding in November. We wish you an amazing life and we hope to meet you again some day!
